Cabo San Lucas

This summer I traveled to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico for a week

The Mexican culture is beautiful. Right when we entered the hotel mariachi greeted us and the other guests to a amazing song. Since we are in the Mexico the primary language spoken and sung here is spanish. My spanish 1 skills really came in handy when greeting and ordering food( special shout-out to my spanish teacher Mr.Russo).
The lifestyle is very different to my lifestyle in Cicero. I rode on a boat and got to experience and view the beautiful scenery within the hotel and its surrounding beaches. In Cicero I cant just go outside and see beautiful beaches and wildlife in my backyard as I can see out my hotel window.
My eyes , skin and I have never experienced this much sun. I’ve never used that much sunscreen in my life. I wasn’t use to all the sun and constant nice weather even if it got really hot and humid , I never wanted to go back to Cicero’s bipolar weather.
Free (non alcoholic) drinks were given at any hour within the hotel. Might’ve went a little crazy on the pina coladas. In our hotel they also had astonishing array of freshly squeezed fruit juices readily available at any time.

Sadly our vacation came to a end and I realized reality would set back in after living lavish in a different country. The appointed time came and I reluctantly placed my bags into the truck taking us back to the airport. As we boarded the plane I took one last look at the beautiful city. The memories and experiences that i took away from Mexico will last a lifetime. If given the chance to visit again I wouldn’t hesitate to pack my bags.
